January 2010 -Returning to southern Thailand researching marinas, islands and waterfront accommodation.

December 2009 -Just launched,  Travel Writing and Travel Photography - From Dreams to Hard Reality, an essential guide for would-be travel writers and photographers compiled by members of the highly credentialed Global Travel Writers syndicate.

November 2009 - Returned to the Whitsundays to inspect Hamilton Island Yacht Club and Hamilton Island Golf Course as well as Hayman Island. Whitsunday Rent a Yacht provided the latest model Highland 35 power cat for exploring the islands as a bareboat skipper.

October 2009 - Just back from Thailand to attend the ASTW (Australian Society of Travel Writers) AGM and took the opportunity to tour around the coast and islands of southern Thailand. Stunning!

Quick sojourn to a privately owned Fijian island to visit an island retreat recently declared one of the 100 most beautiful hotels and resorts of the world.

March 2009 - Completed Research Trip to Cairns & Port Douglas, including offshore islands and Great Barrier Reef.

December 2008 - Research trip to Tassie to visit Hobart, Bruny Island and the Huon Trail. Visit to One Bright Point Resort, Magnetic Island.

Nov 2008 -Fiona relocated permanently to Magnetic Island, in far north QLD. Invited to join Global Travel Writers  a syndicate of professional travel writers and photographers.

Oct 2008 - China trip including Shanghai, Shanxi and Henan Provinces.
